The 3rd local seminar took place at Iasi’s Prefecture Institution, during a NGO Commission meeting, in the 19th of February 2016.
were more than 30 representatives present, as seen in the photos. Unfortunately, not all of them signed the sign in sheet.
The discussion was led by Angela Achitei, the ADV Romania president. At the meeting there were present local NGOs, representatives of local authorities and also a few politicians.
The main topics at the meeting were: an integrated package of solutions for poverty eradication, social public policies priorities for 2016, the proposal of a few.
Methodological norms for the application of the social economy law and of course, promoting the “Our social Europe project” – especially the portal.
Angela Achitei, the president of ADV Romania presented the project, emphasizing the things we’ve done so far. The portal was presented to the participants at the meeting and as people discussed, we gathered feedback.
The portal is fine, but not completely suitable for our needs
We already have a number of portals that keep us informed about public policies and changes at local and national level, changes operated by authorities
Some participants said that when the portal is ready, they will disseminate it towards their relatives living in the UK and Ireland, because it would probably help them.
Participants said that the portal would be more helpful if it contained specific information about local council sessions, how to get information faster, etc.
