Event Name:              Our Social Europe – Local Seminar 4

Invitation sent out:

Dear all,

ENSIE next General Assembly 2016 and “OSE project” 4th local seminar will be on 16th and 17th of June in Dublin. On the first day we will have our GAM starting in the morning so it is better to arrive the day before. The second day we will work only in the morning with the “OSE project” final conference so the return flight can be in the afternoon.

Could you book your flight as soon as possible? Could you write us your travel itinerary so that we can book the hotel for you (the 15 and 16 June we can book for you, for other dates we are not sure to find availabilities)?

General Summary
The participants of the seminar were some of the representatives of ENSIE’s members. ENSIE (European Network of Social Integration Enterprises) unites national and regional networks of Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs). There were 22 participants, representing 15 national and regional networks and 12 different European countries. The speaker, the ENSIE’s director, Patrizia Bussi, talked about the project, its aims, activities and expected results. In particular she talked about the portal and the idea to develop this new methodology for engaging the civic participation of citizens from disadvantaged area, thus the disadvantaged workers of WISEs, in influencing the local policies. The final idea is to engage these people in a participative democracy. The participants agreed on this idea especially because many WISEs try to build participative and democratic management, as stated in the social economy principles. The participants promised to visit the portal and give their opinion. They also promised to disseminate it through their contacts.
